How Can You Become Involved?

As we continue to develop our support structures in an effort to assist those working at grassroots level, our need for volunteers, donors and prayers partners will increase.

Become a Chain Breaker

In 2007 the UK celebrated the 200th anniversary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act although there are many today who are still enslaved by sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. As the NCAP network acts to address this, we would ask whether you could stand together with us in offering freedom and change to the thousands of people caught up in prostitution. Since 2007 we have continued our Chain Breakers appeal where we are looking for 200 people who were prepared to stand with us in NCAP’s work by committing £10 each month. This will ensure we can develop the best support possible and can equip projects to bring greater freedom to people caught in the trap of prostitution throughout the United Kingdom.  If you would like further information on becoming a Chain Breaker, please see ChainBreakers.pdf

Volunteer Support

If you are interested in working with organisations at the grass-roots level, please contact us and we will attempt to match your interests with an NCAP affiliate in your area. Additionally, if you would like to assist us at the national level, please contact us to discuss our current needs and how you could help.

Financial Support

The NCAP network is committed to not charging membership fees to affiliated organisations and regional trainings, workshops and online resources are provided free of charge. Operating this way allows for a greater degree of inclusiveness, so that smaller projects with limited financial resources are not prohibited from participating. Because of our commitment to operate this way, we rely on the generosity of individuals, churches and our supporters.

 Prayer Support

We would especially encourage individuals and churches to join with us in praying both for persons involved in prostitution and for those organisations seeking to reach them. Your commitment to pray regularly for this area of work is vitally important.

NCAP Advocate

One of our aims as a national network is to increase public awareness of prostitution and the issues affecting people involved in or exploited by the sex industry. The NCAP network is motivated by Christian values, and we are especially interested in providing educational opportunities for churches throughout the United Kingdom. If you are interested in arranging for a speaker to come to your church or small group, please do contact us. The NCAP network can provide a speaker or discussion facilitator.
